Bought this product for my 2016 Mazda3 and decided to try for the first time this type of sunshade instead of the accordion style sunshades. After using it for several months the following are the pros and cons I have found:Pros:--- The product is much easier to install and to store than a traditional accordion style sunshade.--- When folded, it's much easier to hide under the seats than accordion sunshades.--- The form and flexibility of the material makes it easier to cover the whole windshield. NOTE: There are different sizes so I highly recommend to measure the size of your windshield to pick the right size for your car or truck.--- Blocks a considerable amount of sunlight.Cons:--- The product itself is very thin, so while it makes it easier to store, it doesn't completely blackout the sun.
So far it seems great only had it a few days easy to store and fits perfectly into my daughters 2017 Honda Civic. She puts the visors down for extra support.I bought the standard size. I bought this one because of all the great reviews it had on it and the three different sizes you had to choose from.In her car it won't fit under her drivers window because her door storage isn't as tall as most cars but it fits perfectly under her drivers seat for storing it there.I just read another review since I bought this about throwing in trash.I just want to let you know that if you look at their picture well it is hard circles in window and the flexible material in between and on for corners.I think that is great though because that's how you get it to fit in your car window so much better because there is so many different window sizes out there for so many different cars.I have bought those other ones from the auto store that the other person stated in their review and it's only one size there. They are to big or too small for cars and don't fit as well as this one does. For my daughters car I checked online for the auto stores,Walmart and Target all those stores didn't have sizes that would fit her window. So then that's when I checked and found this one.So I ordered it and if I ever need another one I would order it again and recommend to others. Thanks again for a great product.
Pretty jam up! Love this thing. Does what it is supposed to and is compact when I fold it up! The sun in the pic is coming from the rear of the car. I have a missannpathfinder and it fits pretty well.
This sunshield is perfect for blocking some of the Texas sun this summer. It fit my Highlander windshield perfectly, blocking all the rays and reducing the heat build-up. It's easy to fold/unfold to store compactly in the space between the drivers seat and center console which is so nice, compared to the large accordion types that have no where to go when you are driving. It's very light weight, held in place with sun visors when deployed. Going to buy another for my husbands car.
this is a little larger than I need for my 2010 VW Jetta but I would rather have too large than too small- it is easy to install (use the visors to keep it in place) and easy to uninstall and fold up- it fits nicely in the side door pocket when folded and not only helps keep the car cool- it protects from sun damage as well

Best sunshade we've ever owned. It is easy to install and stow. Folding it takes 2 minutes to learn. After awhile, you won't even think about it. It does the job it is intended to do. It has a small stowed footprint in its case. Others are awkward, floppy, deteriorate quickly. This one is built to last. You can't go wrong!
I got the standard size 59" x 31" and it fits perfectly on my 2017 Lexus ES 350 it covers every inch without having to pull the visors down to keep it in place. That's what I have been looking for. There is a little material left on the sides which you can flatten out to cover every inch of your windshield to prevent any light from filtering in. The fit was firm and did not look sloppy. The interior of my car is dark gray and like most others I use the shade to keep the car cool, but also to prevent fading. It is easy to put away when not in use. Just fold in half with the black side up, twist and fold again. It fits neatly and compact in the pouch provided. Be sure to get the dimensions of your windshield for the best fit so you won't be disappointed.
Solid 4.5 out of 5; some room for improvement but does a good job and easily worth the money.First off, the vehicle and fit. I have a 2013 F-150. I got the X-Large shade and fits just fine. A shade made specifically for my truck would probably be a bit smaller and if this is one was any larger it wouldn't fit properly. But like it said, it works fine. The shade certainly helps keep my truck cooler and I am happy with the product. However there are a few things that could takes this shade from "good" to "great".1. Material: The material is a bit thin. I don't mean to say that I think the material should necessarily be thicker. When the sun is shining directly on the shade you can see tiny bits of light through the weaving of the material. So a "heavier" fabric (i.e. more tightly woven) would be nice.2. Reflective Coating: The "silver" coating does reflect a good deal of the sun's rays, but it's rather dull. A shinier coating would do and even better job as reflecting the rays and keeping the vehicle interior cool.3. It would be nice if the wire frame was sewn into the shade in a slightly more square shape to reduce the amount of unsupported fabric at the corners of the shade. I usually have to adjust at least 1 or 2 corners because the unsupported fabric either folded up onto the top of the shade or is laying too far back on the inside. But, I'll admit that I'm a bit of a perfectionist and light to have the windshield totally cover by the shade. The amount of unsupported fabric at the corners isn't that big and this probably wouldn't be an issue for most people.Overall, this is a solid shade, at a very reasonable price. I would buy it again as well as recommend it to friends.
This is the perfect Sun Shade to block that Summer heat away from my car windshield and I'm glad I bought this and threw away that cheap aluminum sun shade that I bought from AutoZone. I recommend this sun shade if you don't want the inside of your car to feel like a roasting oven after leaving it in the hot sun.
This product is for real!! We recently bought a Ford Explorer and wanting a big windshield sun shade to protect out new car and just amazed on how good this sunshield works! Really protect our car from the heat of the sun especially we live in Texas where it gets really hot in the summer. Very good quality as well and love that it has a garter to hold its shape for keeping and very easy to use. Highly recommend this!!
I love this shade. It fully covers the window and keeps the sun out. I like the way it easily folds up and is in one piece instead of two. I have a 2015 Lexus RX350 and the window is 54" X 31". I ordered the standard size (59 X 31) but it was too small so I exchanged it for a large (63 X 33.5) and it fits the way it should. I would recommend order the next size up from whatever you think you need.
It pops out and covers the windshield very easily (Honda CRV) and with a little twist, is put away in its pouch nearly as easily (You fold to layer one circle on top of the other then twist that big circle into three smaller circles, I know there's a video, but I didn't need it, it was very easy). The last solar shade I had in my car was made with little bubbles like bubble wrap that after a while deteriorated and made a mess in my car, also, because the accordion type took up space in the back seat when not in use, but this one slips easily into its little pouch. I anticipate that I will not have those issues with this shade.
Update: I am editing my reveiw because they sent me a new one to replace the other one i received damadge. So greatful that they sent this. No questions asked so great. Thank you. This seems to be a great product definitely a great company.Old review: I really want a replacement. It looks like it could be a great product. It comes in a cute case and when I opened it it sprung open. I was so excited to get this but then I realized one of the circles looked smaller. I discovered then that the product I received was already broken :( one of the metal circle frames is broken. I love in Florida and really need one of these for my car. I hope I get a replacment so I can use it.
Living in south Florida - the sun is brutal. After a year of leaving no cover on on the car - we started to notice that the leather seats were beginning to show minor signs of sun damage. Before letting the problem get worse we decided we quickly needed to fix this. We first purchased the large size for our SUV - it seems a little big at first but the beauty of this product is that you can adjust the overlap of the circles to fit the width of your windshield - so it actually fits great. It's a little confusing to collapse - I'll admit I had to have my husband show me a couple times before I got the hang of it - but now I am able to collapse it on my own. We loved it so much we bought a second one for our mustang convertible. For that we got the standard size and it fits perfectly. It really improves the temperature of the car during the day - and I love that it collapses small so it doesn't get in the way when we are using the car. Overall we've had a great experience so far!
At first, I looked at the sun shade in it's perfect protective sleeve and was certain it was going to pop open into my face like those cans of dough. (That didn't happen.) Then, when reading the instructions to this, I was pretty sure I was never going to get it to fit back in it's original sleeve again. (Yeah, this was my biggest concern, oddly.) Well, with just two twists and wrapping the elastic band around my much smaller sun shade, it was back in the sleeve. Yay! This fit my 2004 Grand AM GT perfectly and I don't have to worry about burning my fingers on my steering wheel anymore. I would like them to invent one that goes all the way around my car... every window and for it to keep out humidity. I'm still giving them five stars though.
This is just what I wanted. The previous windshield screen I had was very flimsy and soft and wouldn't stand up in my Honda CR-V even with the visors flipped down. It's a little tricky to fold them up and put them in the nice holder that comes with it but since I usually drive alone, I haven't needed to learn how yet. It does come with instructions.
I bought the x-large to fit GMC Acadia. It's huge and fits the windshield without having to use the sun visors. The wiring is flexible and springy enough that it fits perfectly in the area. It comes with a storage pouch and is small enough that I can store it on the door's storage compartment, glove box, or the storage behind the front seats. I didn't notice any smell when I first opened it. Very compact, easy to use, and store away. Since it covers virtually every inch (probably centimeter) of the windshield, I don't doubt that my car will be cooler.Did you find my review helpful? Please vote "yes". Thanks!
Exactly what I wanted! I coat my car in UV resistant wax, as well as my interior so I will never get premature fading. I wanted a sunshade that wasn't like the "accordion" type, especially because my car isn't very big and I don't want a huge sunshade inside all of the time.It folds up into a circle that's about 8" in diameter, and it's flexible enough to be up in my windshield and maneuver around my dash cam and radar detector. EXACTLY what I was looking for! Quality seems phenomenal too! Would recommend!
Excellent product, in fact the best shade I ever had in 40 years. Good sturdy construction, keeps my car cool n easy enough to store in the pouch. I especially like that the edges have inches of soft nylon fabric that fit into the corners of the windshield for complete coverage. This product is absolutely a bargain and fits my BMW 320i perfectly. Love it!
Fits perfectly in my 2017 Kia Sorento. Love that it covers the entire windshield. Before I got this shade, the steering wheel would get so hot I could not even touch it to drive. Now I don't have to wait for the AC to cool the car down to drive off after parking for extended periods. The company owner emailed to make sure everything was ok and sent videos on how to fold it up. Excellent service and would recommend to anyone.
I couldn't find a large enough sized windshield shade in stores, so when I saw the measurements on this one, I ordered it immediately. This shade is exactly what I needed! The size is perfect for my 2017 Honda Ridgeline and it is in one piece vs. two. I can't speak to how cool it keeps the interior since I received it only yesterday; I will update the review after using it for a few weeks in this August heat.
I love the fact that this is a one piece shade - I don't have to struggle putting one up on the passenger side when alone in the car. It folds up very compactly so it can be stored in the side pocket of the door. My car is not garaged and I live in an area where the summer heat goes into the 100s. I had a similar shade and it worked really well. Couldn't find the one piece shade in local stores, so I was thrilled to find this one.
I have a civic hatchback 2017, and I bought the classic one based on another review and it fit perfectly. I didn't even need to put the visor down. I live in hot sunny Miami, and have leather seats so after a few hours sitting out in the sun my car feels like a sauna. This definitely blocks the sun, and keeps the car cool. I just got it so I cannot testify to its longevity but it does come with little pouch for storage.
The sun shield in the Standard size fits my 2011 Honda Pilot very well. We've already had triple digit weather this year and I've noticed a great difference in the temperature of my car. I feel like the product looks sleek too. For years I've used accordion style shades and after trying this sun shade, I won't be going back! It's is simple to use and easy to install even when by yourself. The only reason I knock off a star is because my sun shade was delivered with a small hole. It's less than a centimeter long but still sort of a bummer.
I have purchased and used the original Magic Shade sun shades for years. When I had a tough time sourcing a new one, I decided to buy the EcoNour version. Unlike the Magic Shade, the Nour version doesn't come in two pieces. It's connected in the middle of the two hoops by fabric. My logic was that this would add even more sun busting power to the shade. Well, it does, and it doesn't. It does from the standpoint that the middle of the shade doesn't have to over lap to benefit from the protection, but it the Magic Shade did essentially the same thing by having both hoops overlap (i.e. they were larger, but didn't cover the extreme corners of the windshield). The Nour does cover the extreme corners of the windshield, but you have to push the fabric into the corners to make it work. If your vehicle has a large windshield, this can be a pain. Does it reduce the temperature in the vehicle? It feels like it does, but by how much? I'm not sure. At any rate, the last Magic Shade I bought lasted over 10 years. Only time will tell how well the Nour does. If it lasts half that, I'll be satisfied.
Very smart engineering , easy to use, and compact. Someone was thinking out of the box when they designed/engineered this product. It is compact (tiny carrying case included), opens quickly, covers the window completely of my brand new Toyota Tacoma truck (even around the rear view mirror area ). Easy to remove, with a simple twist (as described in the instructions) the flexible internal frame is again compact and then very goes back in the tiny carrying case which is about 9" X 9" and flat.. I then store it in the passenger side door area for future use . I hope you sell a million of these!! This smart product is infinitely better than those crappy cardboard accordion monsters from the past.
As a Texas resident, I'm a pretty harsh critic when it comes to sun shades. We get a lot of hot sun barreling in to our vehicles, and I have black leather interior. I got the regular size for my 2017 Mazda3 4-Door, and it works great! I like that it doesn't display a picture or logo, and it covers the entire windshield with a snug fit. After the first laughable attempt, I was able to easily fold up the sun shield, and it fits in my glove box or easily between my seat and the center console, out of the way of passengers. This seller seems reliable as they delivered on time, and instructions for folding as well as a note from the seller were included with the packaging. I have also gotten a couple follow-up e-mails from the seller checking to make sure I am satisfied and offering to return or replace the product if it is not what I need. I'll be keeping this one, but it's great to know they care about satisfaction more than getting the sale.
The sun shade is very sturdy and good overall quality. A couple of points though- if you're considering this, the fitment guide is not a comprehensive list of all potential vehicles. Take the time to measure your windshield. That brings me to point number two- unlike other similar manufacturers of similar design, there is only about an inch of fabric between the two hard wire sections of the shade. This means there is very little allowance for overlapping the two sides if it's a little too big. I have a shade from a large box store that begins with a "C", and there's plenty of fabric in between the two halves to make it a little more forgiving. In the end it worked out ok, I just used that shade for the intended vehicle, and used the new shade for my full size truck. Measure that windshield!
Responsive customer service. They got with me and tried to fix the issue... i found out that neither size is perfect (the way shown on stock images), but you'll just have to force fit some of them. For the Santa Fe Sport, the standard fit well but let in some light... we alternate depending on who is setting it up (myself or wife) since she can't reach as far across to adjust the Large size.Sizing chart is off. I contacted the seller via /Email and I haven't heard back.Drive a 2017 Santa Fe Sport and the sizing chart indicates for us to order a Large. It's not just slightly off causing only aesthetic issues, but it's so off that the 2 circles prevent each other from being able to fit on the windshield and it just hangs off.Again, emailed them asking if I can return and get the right size (because based on the other positive reviews, I'm sure it works well), but I have yet to hear back after several days.
This is exactly the sun shade I was looking for my Acura MDX.One sun shade does NOT fit all windshield. This product is unique that it allows you topick and choose the right size for your vehiclle. I drive an SUV so I pickedthe size that matches my windshield.I'm happy with this product, not only for the choices they provide for different vehicles but the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend this product!!!!
We have a 2005 dodge caravan (the big one) and its hard to find a windshield screen that fits with out flopping right down. Living in Arizona you really need to cut the glare of the sun from heating up the vehicle as much as possible. This one works well, flips out and back to its folded state rather easy.
I had one of these 15 years ago, and was unable to replace it. Finally, here it is! This is the best and easiest windshield sun protector I've ever seen, and I have lived in Florida for 25 years. Its easy to put into the windshield... a true one-person job, it just pops into place. Its a cinch to remove. There's a discreet twist into a figure 8 that folds it together so that it fits snugly between the seat and the center console. And my car seems to be 20 degrees cooler when I use it. Love it!
Live on the south where it's pretty much always sunny, these are a lifesaver by st least protecting the immediate interior by the windshield, we Tony the rest of our windows to help, but this really helps the interior of the car prob at least stay 10 degrees cooler- hey, every little helps.
I'm glad that I took the chance and tried this style. A new accordion-style shade from a big box store kept slumping and flopping down, halfway off the windshield, defeating the purpose! I scoured auto stores and their stock wasn't any more hardy. This shade is sized perfectly for my Nissan Rogue SUV with generous "flaps" that completely snug the rear view mirror and top/bottom corners. I lay it flat on the dashboard, raise it and tuck around the mirror first, then place the circles securely behind each visor. The windshield is totally covered but I saved my highest praise for last as I hoped, the circular rings prevent the shade from slumping limply, whatsoever! It's even easier and quicker to remove, fold in half, and place on the passenger floor space. I don't fold it up in the bag because I don't need to and hoping to extend the life of the shade without frequent "rough" handling.... but it can be folded and tucked into the door pocket, if desired. I may buy another for my DIL's Rogue too!
So simple to use, covers the entire windshield, and blocks out the sun. A little complicated, (I was afraid I was going to break it) to close back up, but after a few tries, it is a piece of cake. It keeps my car a lot cooler, than the old acordian sun visor I had before. Great choice!
The "Large" version of this shade (63" by 33.5") fits the 2017 Prius Prime very, very well. I've seen other ratings say that the one they bought wasn't large enough, but they must have bought the "Standard" or "Classic" size. I can assure you the "Large" fits the 2017 Prius Prime, which means it should fit the 2018 Prius Prime, also. That may also mean it fits all of the Gen4 Prius models, but I'm not sure. I don't know if they all have the same size windshield. Beyond how it fits, the shade seems to be of a decent-quality fabric. I have owned one of these double-ring, one-piece shades before, and this seems to be higher quality that that one. I like it very much.
I bought this as a replacement shade for one I had for several years. My old one was in two pieces and this this is 2 shades connected in the middle. I like the convenience. This product works well at keeping the inside temperature of my Ford Escape (with its huge windows) down during this summer heat. I like the way it spirals upon itself and stores well in the bag provided so it does not take up much room in the car. Once you get the concept of how it folds in, it is great. It seems to be made well. The outside rim of the shade is a little flimsy so you will need to be careful when spiraling it for storage. I will need to see how it holds up for the next few years.
This product is just as explaned by the sellar and it really does keep my car much cooler in the inside on my hot days in Las Vegas. It is very easy to place on my front windows with just the visors holding it on. Good selling price and delivered promptly and quickly. Would recommend this product to anyone and would purchase it again.
Car: 2019 Honda Civic hatchback sportSize ordered: ClassicFor the price of this shade compared to higher-end or custom ones i am happy with it.The coverage is good, but not perfect. Light leaks in the corners. It stays up well once in place. It is a little awkward to open and put in place because there is not a lot of room to maneuver it in this car. It tends to collapse in half while I'm trying to secure one side under the visor, then again while doing the other visor. It collapses to a relatively compact size. I wish it was smaller, there's really no good place to put it out of the way in this car. I don't bother putting it in the pouch it came with because it's the same size either way and the pouch is an ugly light grey color.Something like a covercraft would probably be nicer, but I'm not spending $60-$70 on a sun shade. For ten bucks I'm happy with this one.
The sunshade covers the windshield 98% or at least it does on a 2016 Ford Fusion. I easily put up and take down the sunshade anywhere from 2 to 10 times a day. This is the first sunshade that I've used that doesn't take at least 10 attempts to fold. I not batting a 1000 on folding but very close. The area that goes around the mirror would have to be the place anyone could complain about if you were just needing to find something to complain about. The area around the mirror is the only place that light comes through. I see it as a vehicle issue because rearview mirrors are not all installed the same and the sunshade leaves enough material there to adjust a good bit around a difficult mirror. This is a nice product, the price is fantastic, and I've not cussed at it. If I do start cussing at it I'll come back and update my review.
Too little too late, but when my windshield fell down, I realized that I was ruining my old work truck sitting out in the driveway for the past 2 years, when I saw the condition of my dashboard and I accidentally pushed my hand through both speaker covers that were rendered brittle as potato chips! So after I found & ordered the glue to fix my mirror, ArmorAll-ed my dashboard & ordered the speaker cover replacements from a junkyard, I decided it was high time I cool down the interior of my truck! This one fit like a glove, and it is very light and small when it is folded up. However, the fold-up is a little more confusing than they would have you believe, but still it's keeping my truck cabin cooled down! And besides... Since the truck sits there most of the time unused, I won't have to fold up the windshield shade that often?
I ordered this shade specifically because it is all one piece. I've purchased similar ones in the past from local automotive stores and they were two panels. In my opinion I like when it is all connected. It still folds up easily and you don't have to overlap the panels when they are covering your windshield.Make sure you measure your windshield. I initially thought that I needed a larger size because I have a truck, but after measuring it turned out the smaller size was the one. It fits perfectly.
Great size for small windshield. Shade is silver on one side and black on other. My other shade was silver and silver. Could be just perception, but with the black to the inside and silver out, car is darker and feels cooler. Product does seem a bit thinner than other spring loaded shade I had but should be durable enough since only stays in car. The protective bag is an excellent addition!
So for all intents and purposes, this is a pretty standard sunshade and it works well. However, I will say that the size chart is off, and the one I bought for my car based on the size chart was much too large for my car. As such, it is a little bit awkward to put in my windshield, and definitely does not fit snugly. So I have some gaps in the shaded area and so this is not as effective I would like it to be. But purely from the standpoint of it blocking the sun and keeping the car cooler, even with its less than 100% performance, it definitely keeps the car cooler than when I was without it. So if I had the correct size, this would've been great. I also like how easily it folds down very easily into this very compact circle, which makes for easy storage. It folds down literally in one second once you get used to it, which is just such a huge convenience, as I have seen people toy with their sunshades for a minute to get it all put away.
I have a SUV and choose to get the jumbo shade to completely cover my window without slipping down (the large size always slips down and I use a clip to keep the top tight to avoid slipping down along with the visors flipped down). I have used it quite frequently in upper 90's-100+ weather and it keeps my car much cooler and the AC works at cooling much faster (because of less heat in the car). Easy to use & fold up and a pocket case to put it away into. Highly recommend this.
I needed a sun shade for my new car and this was just what I needed. It fit my car perfectly from the size chart. It's easy to put on and just as easy to take it down and put it away. They give you instructions on how to close it and long as you don't over think it it's supper easy.As far as the sun blocking it does great! It was hot today and inside the car it could have been hotter but with the shade up I had no problem getting in and seating on my seats and the steering wheel was not hot to the touch (both were problems before I used the shade).I will recommend this brand to all my friends and family because it does what it's suppose too and the price was right.
I have a Honda CRV and the last two sun shades I purchased just did not fit the entire windshield properly.I am so happy that this sunshade fits the windshield so well, it looks great, really keeps the sun out. I highly recommend this product especially for the "hard to fit" windshields and the price is also amazing.
I purchased the large version for my 2013 Toyota Highlander Limited. It fits perfectly (it will cover pretty much the entire window if you take the time to spread out the edges, which I usually do not, but it still covers enough for me to be happy with it.) and stays put easily. It doesn't fold up very neatly. I only tried to fit the thing back into the case it comes with one time. It didn't want to fit easily- I felt that the case was too small, so I gave up and now I just fold it (lay one panel on top of the other, twist the two panels and fold in half again- then use the small attached strap to sort of hold them together/in place) and slip it in between the center console and front passenger seat when I'm not using it. This is the only factor that kept me from giving it 5 stars. I would purchase it again. Having used the accordion style before, I am much more happy with this type of shade.
Well, the sizing chart said to choose the extra large for my car - a Buick Verano. This thing is HUGE! and it's wider than the windshield by quite a bit. I don't know how much smaller the Large would have been but it be just my luck that the Large would be narrower than the windshield so I kept the XL. It's a bit more of a chore to get it in place than my cheapo shades from Walmart, but it does block more light. Its hard for me to tell, but I think it does keep the car a few degrees cooler than the Walmart shades did. The feature I like best is that they fold up small unlike the accordion shades that take up so much space. This fits in the seat pocket just like my Walmart shades did.I would recommend that you actually measure your windshield and use that to find the correct size rather than just going by the make of your vehicle.
For the price, especially, it's a good deal. Seems to block much of the sun that used come through the windshield and super heat the dashboard and steering and much of the car. I assume that it is also blocking UV rays, but will have to see after a month whether or not I still have to clean the film off the inside of my windshield. I'm a bit surprised from some of the reviews that say it does not keep their car cool... ummmm... if you want air conditioning, you can leave your car running with it on. There are also 3 other sides to the vehicle that let sun in and heat the interior. I have no doubt that the car is less heated with this in-place. I mainly wanted to stop the dashboard super heating and gassing the inside of my windshield. Maybe the only thing better might be some kind of foil substance instead, but that would probably cost a lot more and be more difficult to fold up than how easily this folds up and stores away.
Works well. I ordered the wrong size lol my fault for not double checking the size chart. It's not terrible but I have to wrestle with it to get it just right. just purchased a second one in the correct sizeUpdate 8-5-18I received and have been using the new one I ordered in the correct size. It is awesome. I don't have to use my visors to hold it in place, it doesn't slip. Very satisfied.
I have been searching at various stores in Hawaii, for this collapsible sun shade for my new 2017 Honda CRV which has a very large windshield. It really helped to know the various sizes to fit my car window. I will be ordering another sunshade for my mom's Toyota Corrolla.
These are the best car shades ever. I've had one like this for my car for several years so I knew this was what I wanted for my truck. It folds compactly so is easy to store and the large size fits my Chevy Silverado perfectly.
This does do a good job at blocking out the sun. "I" just find it a little difficult to get in and out of the little bag that comes with it. It takes me a lot of Finesse each time to figure out HOW to twist it in order to get it back in. It does fit well in the front windshield of my Subaru Forester and I have used it in a side window to block the sun in my parked car coming in on my dog. Just not convenient to take in and out and put away like the old fashioned accordion folding ones!
I've been using one of those accordion sunshades for years and it just never fits the windshield good and exposes a lot of the dash to the sunlight. this thing fits like a glove and conforms to the odd shape of my windshield completely covering the dash so that there's no exposure to the Sun. the only thing is it's a little bit hokey trying to twist it and pack it back up into its little package I could never get it to fit right but when you twist the Rings in half and put the elastic band around it it's stores easily in and just laying on the back seat or in the floor. the materials a bit thin but it seems durable enough and for the price you're paying it's an excellent value I ordered the standard one and it fit my windshield I have a Saab with a really weird curved windshield and it fit that perfectly
This sunshade has made a big difference in the comfort of both myself and by toddler when we're in the car. I live in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, where there's a LOT of direct sunshine on my car - it's always been scorching inside when I get in the car in the morning. As soon as I started using this shade I could tell it was many degrees cooler. No more sticky hair at the end of a 10-minute ride! It's also super lightweight and easy to fold back into its case, and the size I selected fits perfectly on my Honda Civic. No complaints.
I bought this for my 2011 Scion xD. I was afraid it might be too big for it but it's good fit. I'm very happy with this sun shade. The seller's description is right on. It's easy to fold/unfold and at the price range I was shopping for.
This car sunshade is perfect for my needs. When opened, it pops out and is then easy to maneuver into place. The storage pouch is useful to keep it from popping open when not in use.
Had one for my little truck. The hardest part was folding it back up. After a few tries and videos I got it. Like it so much I bought one for my big truck. These things are excellent. They hold their shape, fold up into a compact area and are easy to place in the windshield. Would definitely recommend
I used to own a sunshade similar to this when I lived in the desert. It was a necessity. After moving back to my hometown of Southern California, I figured I'd never need one of these again. My car used to sit in a shaded area during the day so I haven't needed one in years. Well, life changes. I promptly ordered this after the skin on the back of my thighs met the black leather of my car that had been sitting in direct sunlight. I followed the size chart and ordered a large for my 2013 Chevy Volt. It was enormous. I ordered the standard size and it was perfect. Now, I can wear shorts and dresses without fear. The back of my thighs are thankful.
I bought one of these for my Audi Q7 and loved it. It fit perfectly and kept the heat down in the vehicle. Once I figured out how to shrink it down to fit back in the pouch, I was able to store it in the side pocket of the door and that was great. Since I was so happy with this product I decided to purchase one for my Lexus ES300. This one didn't fit quite as well and yes I went by the chart to pick the size. It was too big and overlaps on the sides. It still keeps the sun from burning up the car but I think the manufacturer might want to add another size. I would have given this a 5 star rating if it wasn't for that.
I have a 2016 Honda HR-V. According to the size chart, the XL was to fit my car. It's so big that I can't fit it under the rearview mirror. The quality is nice, but the chart was wrong. Will be exchanging.
I used it throughout the summer and it drastically reduced the heat [by 10+ degrees] in my car while it's sitting in direct sunlight. By blocking the sunlight, it also protects the leather in my car. I drive a 2018 Infiniti q50 and got the standard size. Fits perfectly... It is able to cover the whole windshield and has a bit extra that runs off the side. It's durable and comes with a holding pouch. You can easily twist it to fold it back up when you're not using it. I tend to just keep it open and folded in half in my backseat or trunk during the summer so I don't have to waste time taking it out or storing it in the pouch.
I bought this for my car. It's awesome and keeps it relatively cooler inside the car, but it's a bit too big and does not exactly "fit" in the windshield; the middle of it will sort of fold in on itself toward the inside of the vehicle. As this product still does what it's supposed to, this would be 5-stars if the folding-in-on-itself thing wasn't an issue.
Arrived on time and in perfect condition. I bought this for my 2018 Honda CRV... I bought size Large and it fit a bit snug, but covers the entire windshield with maybe an inch extra on each side. Folds easily and I can tuck it away underneath my seat. I haven't tested it yet to see how much it helps cool down the vehicle, but it will block the sun from my leather seats which was the original intention with getting this.
Just got the shader today, looks good and easy to install. The size chart is wrong though, I bought the classic size for my Mazda CX5 while the chart suggested two sizes up, but the classic size is definitely not small, it fully covers the glass from corner to corner, not even pulling it.
We received our sun shades on July 22, 2018. We order these because the interior of my mini van is partly black and my husband's car has an all black interior. We decided we needed some sun shades since were both burning off our hands (and any exposed skin) when we got into our vehicles after work after our vehicles sun soaked for eight hours each day. Thank goodness we went with the EcoNours. This week was the hottest week so far this year in San Antonio and we were both very glad we got these babies. Don't get me wrong, it was still jot as hell, but we were able to keep the sun from making our steering wheels bearable to touch. They are easy to use and put away and are very well made. A very good investment.
Awesome windshield sun shade! Much better than the one that folds like an accordion. I had one like that and it kept falling down, I believe due to the sun zapping it, which is why I was looking into a different one that wasn't like it. My only issue with this one was it was too small for the windshield on my 2012 F150 (I measured my windshield and ordered the one that was the correct size, it just wasn't what I was looking for) so I returned this one to order a larger one.
Living in FL, it's almost a must to have some type of vehicular heat/sunscreen. I was very surprised at the weight of this screen - like a feather! I like that it simply folds compactly into its cute little carrying case. I ordered the size by those standards listed for my particular vehicle - being quite apprehensive about ordering the "standard" size for my SUV, a Honda Pilot Touring model, believing it would be too small. No worries, it fits PERFECTLY! What a breeze to install and fold back up! For the money, I feel I received an excellent product & would highly suggest it to anyone looking to keep your vehicle cool in these hot temps!
FUNNY story: when I received it, I thought, "OH NO, I must have ordered the wrong size, it's so tiny!" The folded shades looked like they were meant for a toy car, lol, but it was simply a case of folding VERY, VERY compactly :)The actual size was normal, just exactly the size I had ordered. And it "deploys/removes" very easily - in fact, much more easily than my old accordion-style shades, which I had had for many years.I wasn't expecting "technology advances" in something so basic as a window shade buy, hey, technology marches on for simple items as for complex ones!
I have been using suns shaded for years (I live in a very hot dry summer climate). This is your standard sunshade. It is easy to open and refold, although not that easy to get back in the bag. You don't need to use the bag and I have never used the bag in the past because of the extra time involved. It is a little thicker than the prior ones I purchased. I followed the size for my model (2019 Grand Cherokee) and it works. Not perfect, but as good as any other sun shade. There is a gap under the mirror.
Bought two of these and totally enjoy them. The quality is excellent and they came just as advertised. Would certainly recommend these shades to anyone who wants their car to be cooler in the sun, to protect their dash from the sun and also avoid the "hot" steering wheel. There is a learning curve on folding them back up but having one in another car, it doesn't take long to learn the method. Make sure your windshield is measured and you get the right size.
I live in TX and as the warmer months are approaching I needed a new shade ASAP! I got the large size for my 2014 Honda Civic and it fits well!! I am happy with it and glad I got a large. It covers the whole windshield. It does come with a storage bag for when you are not using it, but I'm lazy! I just chuck it to the backseat.
I wrote an earlier poor review for this shade because I obviously made a dumb mistake regarding the size of the shield before even removing it from the case . I have deleted my first review to make some sort of amends . This is a terrific product . Fits perfectly ( I ordered the standard size to fit my Cherokee ) , darkens the interior and blocks copious amounts of blistering Florida sunshine therein . All I need and expect from a windshield screen . Good job .

Make sure you order the correct size for your windshield! The item description gives make and models and then has columns under "standard", "large", "extra large", etc. The one I bought for my Ford Fiesta covers the entire windshield and even a small part of the driver's and passenger's windows. Just let down sun visors to hold reflective shield in place. Inside of car is definitely cooler with the use of this item! Just wish I could get the hang of folding it back into small circular form to fit inside case!

This is replacing my visor that was falling apart from sun and use. Today is the first time to put it in the windshield. It has good coverage for the glass in my 2015 Kia Soul. I dont usually fold these up. I slide them between the passenger door and seat. Unsure what the "suction" is that was asked about. It is one piece, unlike these foldables I have gotten in the past. It seems well-made. Covers the entire windshield to protect the dashboard.
The measurements were accurate and these fit our vehicles nicely. We have 2 different year Hyundai Santa Fe's and a Hyundai Elantra. We bought the XL size for all three vehicles. We had a variety of sizes of other sunblockers and they were always slightly too small. They would droop or sag then fall down. This product doesn't.I would say the quality is average and would expect it to last a few years. It has a silver side for summer and a dark side for winter. Overall, we are satisfied.

Needed a shade large enough to block all sun. The desert is a rough place on cars. And I have no tint on my windows so my car becomes a dessicated hot box in summer. This is great! It's large enough to cover my entire windshield and seems to block out all light. Keeps my car cooler and saves the interior from excess sun damage. It's lightweight so stays in place. And it's darn easy to fold up and store in its bag. Hooray!!!
So far so good. I've been using your average accordion sunshades and have gone through 3 due to the designs on the sunshades peeling/flaking off. I decided to just buy this to avoid the messiness and it's great. My only advice is to make sure you get the right size. The one I got (standard size) is a tiny bit bigger than my windshield, which was my bad because I just guesstimated when picking the size. If you have a Toyota Camry like me (or a car of similar size) get the one that's 59x27.5 (Classic)! Despite it being a little bigger than my windshield, it still fits okay and does the job.
I have Black leather interior. It does keep it cooler on the hot days. it is easy to put in place using your sun visor. it works as advertise. It comes as small circles and expands to large ones but getting it back to small circles seems to be a bit cumbersome. I have not made it back yet and neither has my buddy with same unit. We are both mechanical incline but still a bit baffling. I sure there is a easy way but I have a SUV and just put it in the back until I need it.
So far with the south Florida sun its holding own, really like the fact that's its compact with just a simple twist of the rist, it might take u try or two to get the folding part down. I have noticed a drop in heat when I open the car door, only thing I could see that needs improved on it is the little storage pack it's kind of tight to get back in.
The EcoNour windshield sunshade is a neat little package that unfolds to cover my trucks windshield edge to edge. It is light weight and folds back up into about a 12-inch diameter bundle, is secured with an elastic band, and fits into an included sleeve that stores away just about anywhere. Great product, love it!

This sunshade is exactly what I've been looking for. It blocks out the Florida heat and it's so flexible and easy to open and fold back up. I bought the standard size and it fits the windshield of my Mazda 3 fine. It covers almost completely. The only space is around the mirror, but the flaps can be arranged to block most light. When folded, it can be stored in back of driver seat or door side pocket. Don't know how durable it is yet, as I just received it yesterday, but it seems like it's made well. Good price at under $14. Very happy.
Purchased three - two regular size and one larger for our truck. They all fit well and are slightly larger than previous purchase from brick & mortar store. Has only been a few weeks so cannot respond regarding long term durability but so far very good. Like having instructions for folding.
This is HUGE!!! I went by the vehicle size chart, an just 1 of the circles almost covers my windshield! So I have them overlapping, it's almost comical, when I pulled it out of the bag it comes it, it popped open an took up the whole drivers seat an passenger seat, hitting the roof... I was dismayed at how big an awkward this is...an if you have 10 or 15 minutes to waste every time you remove it to try an get it back into that small bag, forget it... I just stuff it between the console an seat.
It covers everything and never falls!!! So the large one was recommended for my car and I'm so glad it was! At first it was kind of hard to fold because I didn't pay attention when I opened it but apparently you do the whole twist thing like all those types and then there's an extra bit left that folds up. Confusing but seriously I wish it would've come with clearer instructions cuz it's to big to not be folded and it took me about 2 weeks of using to finally figure it out. But then again maybe that's just me. ;P
arrived sooner than expected, and works well. darkens the inside of my car enough to trigger the rearview mirror sensor into thinking it's night time. I have a small windshield and it's mostly covered, little bit of sunlight peeking in at the edges but the point was to protect my hands from a hot wheel and that's been accomplished. instructions for use were easy to follow and folds up nice and compact
I purchased this sun shade for my husbands car (BMW 435 -- to determine what size to get, answer the questions about your make & model car at the top of the product page and you will find the perfect size for your car). It is so much easier, better, nicer to use than the old accordion style shades we've used in the past. It EASILY "folds" up to allow for storage (follow directions supplied and watch the video on the product page). I highly recommend this product and I'm thinking about buying another one for myself!
I'm so glad I finally bought a sunshade for my car windshield, even happier that I bought this specific one! I live in Florida and the temperature inside the car can be pretty bad. On top of that, the sun shines directly on the steering wheel and seats. I don't know what took me so long to buy a shade but that's besides the point.I really like this sunshade, I bought the XL size because I drive a 2018 Honda Odyssey minivan - super large windshield. I'm satisfied with this product. My only issue with it is how it's supposed to fold up. Maybe it's just me but I am unable to twist it and fold it the way the directions say. I can never fit it into that little bag for storing it. ??????I still am very happy with this product even though it challenges me lol
I live in the high desert climate of Santa Fe. At 7000 feet, and in a state that borders Mexico (ie southern) the sun is very strong. This lightweight sun shade covers my entire RAV 4 windshield in seconds and helps keep my car 9and steering wheel much cooler than my last one, which was kind of like crinkled aluminum foil and which shed silver pieces after a year. Highly recommend this.
This sunshade works pretty well for a good price. In the summer the interior of the car gets so hot, the steering wheel is almost too hot to hold and the seats make you need new skin. This shade is super easy to fit, unfold and place in windscreen using the visors to hold in place.Came out to my car after 8 hours and whilst still hot I could sit and drive comfortably.Folding is a little tricky to start with but after a good few attempts I was successfull.Good shade for a good price
Love this sun shade! I was searching for a shade for my KIA Sorento SXL and this shade fits perfect. I got the size "large". I have used this type of shade before and love how easy and fast it was to put up in the windshield. They don't sell this type of shade in stores around here so I was very pleased to find this one on . It is "one" piece, and the stores only had these 2 piece ones which just doesn't make sense to me. I am so satisfied and happy I made this purchase.
It was hard to find a sunshade big enough for my car (honda odyssey) and this was perfect.
Decent product, decent price. To be honest the fit is a little to big for my vw golf 2017. That being said I like this company based off its customer first approach and honest ask for reviews. I'd suggest a slightly smaller size for 2017+ vw compact owners but I'm happy to provide a review for the team at this company.
This is super easy to use. Open and put in window, can't get any easier than that. My GMC Denali sits outside in the Southeastern NC sun all day and this really made a difference. When I get into my truck I can actually sit on the leather seats without being burned. It also keeps the sun of my dash which is important down here in the Southeast. I would definitely recommend it.
Top quality product at a great price. Clever design allows custom fit of entire windshield. Reflective silver facing sun will undoubtedly keep interior cooler than any product without this feature and I love the storage pouch. Price is such a deal for what you get! Can't say enough good things about it. As soon as I get measurements for my adult children's vehicles, I will be buying these as Christmas gifts and an extra for myself as a backup when this wears out.
Nice sun shade, better quality than the ones you can buy at the drugstore. I like how it easily folds up so it doesn't take up a lot of room in my backseat. My only complaint is that it's just a little too big for my windshield (Subaru Outback). It's not enough of an issue to prevent me from using it, and it's certainly better than too-small--it just makes it a little bit cumbersome.
I got the regular 59x31 size and it Fits my 2013 nissan maxima perfectly. Stays up really well. Super easy and fast to fold and unfold. However the quality is not the best, the trim is already coming off and I've only had it for a few days.
This sunshade covers the entire front window and blocks out all the sun, which really helps keep the temp inside the car much cooler and you don't burn your hands on a hot steering wheel. A really nice feature to this sunshade is that it can be twist-folded and stored in its own storage pouch. It takes very little space to store when not in use, like placing between the seat and center-counsel or in the back of your seat in the storage pouch. This sunshade and the front window shades used together really keeps the interior cool, almost like parking in the shade.
I like the fact that it folds into a small package. Does the job for keeping the car cooler. May take some time to get use to refolding it but it is really no big deal. Overall a grade shade for the price.
